At the care of children

We members of St. John Paul II province trusting in the providence of God, imitating our heavenly patron, provincial patron, and relaying upon some generous personalities work to enhance the life of the orphaned and destitute children by nurturing their potential and in promoting their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being by providing comprehensive care for them.

Our approach to caring for Children will fully develop each child's potential for happiness and security in his/her formative years. This will prepare him/her for a secure, fulfilling and productive future, while preserving his/her natural culture and heritage.

Hostel: Building hostel would facilitate the students from the neighboring villages who came to the town to be able to frequent some good educational institutions. With great trust in your generosity we place before you this request. The Province runs 2 schools, 3 orphanages and 3 hostels. In the orphanage we admit students who are orphans in the real sense as well as destitute children who have parents but are unable to support the education of their children. The education of a child develops self-esteem and skills and in turn has a positive effect on the whole community. Education is a key to enabling a child to support themselves, their families and their communities independently in the future. But their future is blocked because of the poor and abandoned status of their life.

The Province tries to find the balance resources. The hostel we have is not attached to our school and so we have to pay the school fees too to the outside school. The schools that we have need to be maintained by the Province, which includes the payment of the salaries to the teachers. For this we need to collect fees from the children. The poor children are given fee concession or are given free education, depending on the situation. Above all education is one of the basic necessary sources to live in this computer based world. Let us not delay knowing the situation and deprive the poor children from their standard of life rather let us join hands to give them life by educating them.

The Contribution will help the child to meet the School Fee, Books, Food and Dress. As a sponsor, you will receive information regarding the Child (Including Name, Date of Birth and a Short Profile) and a yearly progress of the Child's Education.
